Horrendous Weather In Tassie

It was pissing down in Tasmania for North's clash with Hawthorn on the weekend. Here's a little bit of the weather.

St Kilda Against Rotation Policy

Adelaide v St Kilda Buildup

These two sides clash this weekend and both are in hot form. Saints, of course, haven't lost all season and the Crows have won a dozen or so in a row and beat the Dockers by 117 points last week with Freo kicking just one goal. Should be an absolute ballsplitter!!!!!

Hawthorn v North Melbourne Q4 Highlights

Sorry Kangaroos' fans this compilation is mainly directed at Hawks' fans. I think it was created by a Hawthorn supporter, but anyway, you get the idea.

Barry Hall Interview 9/7/09

Barry Hall announced his retirement from the Sydney Swans this week after a number of on-field altercations where he boiled over. There's been talk Hall may not be finished in the AFL just yet though, as some other teams are lining him up. But here's an interview with Big Bad Bustling Barry and Sam Newman on the Footy Show.

Naitanui Lovin'

New West Coast Eagle Nic Naitanui dominated Hawthorn in the last quarter on the weekend. Naitanui booted 3 goals in the last term to win the Eagles the game. He looks a miraculous talent. Check out his snag. NB. Naitanui had 2 or 3 possessions before the last quarter.

Footy Show Sam's Mailbag 18/6/09

The Footy Show delivers some decent gags again with Sam's Mailbag this week. I'll give you a bit of context. North Melbourne coach Dean Laidley quit this week, so the Kangas are being linked with plenty of names, with Nathan Buckley high on that list. Bucks makes a cameo. And also earlier in the episode panelist Brendan Fevola made a couple of basic English errors, so he cops a bit of a ribbing for that. Anyway here it is.

Shaun Burgoyne's Contract Stand Off

Big thanks to 'The Krafty One' from youtube for this one, another video from South Australia on the Adelaide Nine News from 15/6/09. It's about Port Adelaide's Shaun Burgoyne telling the club he won't sign a new contract unless they re-sign coach Mark Williams. Williams is under plenty of pressure as the Power have been inconsistent this season. There's a snippet too on SANFL club Port Magpies, who are struggling this season.

Fremantle star Matty Pavlich is here on Perth's Channel 7 news dreaming about a premiership with the Dockers. Dude, seriously?

Adelaide Crows Hot Form

The Adelaide Crows have been in good form lately winning their last three to be just percentage out of the top eight. They've beaten top 4 contenders Hawthorn and Carlton as well as top 8 challengers Essendon, so it's been a good run and here Footy Classified give them a pat on the back. I'm sure Crows fans will appreciate this vid more than anyone else.

Barry Hall Boilover

Barry Hall lost the plot a little bit in Sydney's weekend loss to Hawthorn. The game was in the balance when Hall gave away a triple-50m-penalty to allow the Hawks a crucial goal. This was a Round 11 game played on the 7th June, which the Hawks won 12.14.86 to Sydney's 11.9.75 at the MCG.

Ben Cousins Flips Off The Camera

AFL's controversial man Ben Cousins got in trouble again this week when he gave a live Channel 10 camera the bird. Cousins was in the Richmond changerooms back in his home state of WA, for the Tigers clash with Fremantle when he decided to do this. Probably not a good idea, but a wee bit funny.

Morton's Late Winner In Perth

Richmond won a ripper at Subiaco Oval against the Dockers in Round 10 on May 30. Mitch Morton kicked a late on for the Tigers to win 17.13.115 to Freo's 17.10.112. Here it is.

The Footy Show 'Delicious' Skit

Some of the funniest stuff I've seen from The Footy Show in ages here. It's from the show on the 14/5/09. If you hadn't heard Bruce McAvaney described Hawthorn forward Cyril Rioli as 'delicious' recently. Anyway Sam Newman has whipped out a parody of that on Sam's Mailbag. This video below is pretty long and the best bits are about 3 minutes 30 seconds in (when Bruce says 'delicious') and in the last 2 minutes of the video when Sam does his Bruce parody. Classic.
